The Swizzle Experience
One thing that became apparent
when we decided to revamp our
website was the number of people
who have contacted us to share
their swizzle experience be it
last year or 30 years ago or
more. There's a lot of interest
in sharing past experiences by
our former visitors and
regulars, many of whom worked
and lived in Bermuda before
returning to their own
countries. We encourage everyone
who has photos of their swizzle
experience to send them to us
and we will post them on our
"swizzle experience " page.
Include a few lines about the
shot so we know who's who. You
never know, you might get an
email from another old swizzler!!

"Letters! We get Letters!"
When I came to Bermuda
on my honeymoon several
years ago and spent an
enjoyable evening at the
Swizzle Inn I did not
think I could top it
ever. It was truly the
highlight of my trip.
Well I did top it. This
past year myself and my
wife decided to
celebrate our 5 year
anniversary with our
very best friends on
thier 10 year
anniversary. The four of
us, who have been
friends since school and
do everything together,
went back to Bermuda. Of
course a trip to the
Swizzle Inn was in
order, and we spent a
sunny afternoon drinking
rum swizzles until our
faces were numb. I never
had so much fun ever
with my best friend.
That night has a special
place in my heart and so
does the picture I
enclosed. Pat, my
friend, died shortly
after from cancer. We
had planned this trip
not only in celebration
of our anniversary but
also to celebrate Pats
going into remmision
from his cancer.
Unfortunately he was not
able to maintain his
fight. This is the last
picture that was taken
of us. I hope you like
it.

I was on your beautiful
island the week of
1/3/07...Full Moon week.
Everyday I was at the
Swizzle Inn & had the
best Cheesburger I have
ever had!!! In fact I am
having SI Cheesburger
withdrawal right now!
Anyway...while I was at
the Swizzle Inn I met
soo many great & fun
people! (All
locals)...I felt as
though I fit in
perfectly, actually more
comfortable there than
at my local bar in the
states....go figure
I am
requesting...please...
that you post this photo
on your site. This was
the day before I left &
I had a blast!! You all
are so fun!
